  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chicken for about 6 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in chicken broth, honey or maple syrup, and soy sauce; mix well.
  4. Add thyme and rosemary to the sauce; let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, cover, and cook on low for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve with extra sauce drizzled on top alongside steamed veggies or rice.
