- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp agar-agar powder dissolved in warm water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two round cake pans with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, beat butter until creamy; add eggs one at a time along with vanilla.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth. Fold in white chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth; stir in dissolved agar-agar.
- Divide half of the chocolate batter between the pans. Spoon cheesecake filling on top without mixing it into the batter. Pour remaining chocolate batter over cheesecake layer.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before serving.
