  • 1 cup semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache (made from 1/4 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup semi-sweet baking chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt semi-sweet chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat until smooth; set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and eggs. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture while stirring.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Whip cold heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  6. Cut cooled brownies into squares and layer them in a dish with whipped cream in between each layer. Drizzle with chocolate ganache before serving.
