  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together minced garlic, honey, olive oil, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Coat chicken breasts in the marinade and set aside.
  3. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk and cheddar cheese until melted into a creamy sauce.
  5. Mix cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until well-coated. Transfer to the baking dish and place marinated chicken on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Serve warm.
