  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until creamy. Mix in sour cream and sugar until smooth. Add one egg and mix until combined.
  4. Spread half of the brownie batter into the pan. Layer with cheesecake filling and cherry pie filling, then top with remaining brownie batter.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean from the brownie layer. Allow to cool before slicing.
