  • 1 large sourdough loaf (about 1 pound)
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked chicken or turkey, shredded
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cut off the top of the sourdough loaf and scoop out some insides, leaving about an inch of bread around the edges.
  3. In a bowl, mix together shredded chicken, minced garlic, chopped herbs, and olive oil until well combined.
  4. Spoon the filling into the hollowed loaf. If desired, sprinkle cheese on top before placing the lid back on.
  5. Wrap the stuffed loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
