  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces, season with salt, pepper, and half of the minced garlic. Let marinate while preparing the pasta.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot; add rigatoni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Add steak in batches and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; add remaining butter, garlic, and beef broth to the skillet. Simmer for about five minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss the cooked rigatoni into the skillet until well-coated with sauce.
